With the goal in mind to create a Motion Graphics video that properly portrayed the mission statement and goal of the Lone Elk Travel Agency to make travel and nature closer to your fingertips, I started my storyboarding process.
The target audience of Lone Elk Travel Agency are people who interact with media and posts from outdoor brands such as REI and BassPro Shops. Generative research efforts provided an insight that the target audience for the Lone Elk Travel Agency is more likely to be looking for hiking or camping trips as opposed to party trips to beaches and islands. This target group wants to experience the outdoors in a way that is much more connected than a standard vacation would provide.
Video Style
The style of the video was important to nail, a clean and sleek aesthetic that also included a wide arrange of natural elements that make the viewer feel like they are surrounded by nature.
Part of this challenge was to curate the HDRI images that are shown in the video, representing the different possible travel locations.
